As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). Cole, Paige & others that I spoke with at Veterans United, during the processing of my home loan, were all excellent agents to work with. Jon and his team were truly outstanding from the beginning to the end. I appreciated the quick and accurate responses to all my questions. When I didn’t understand something, they explained the answers so I could understand. I have purchased several homes, but the service I received from Veterans United is above and beyond all others.
Process was fairly easy, website is great! Getting docs to this team is as simple as it gets. Very efficient, communicative and great at getting on top of things. Had lots of questions after initial disclosures but Joel and Brenda handled things like champs. I'll use them again when rates fall enough for it to be worth it. Keep my mortgage guys it'll be worth it!
I looked into them over a year ago but they don't do construction loans. They continued to reach out and see if I was still interested. I thought the other mortgage company was going to be good but they started to act dumb, passing off issues to others in the company and didn't know how to do their job. Made the switch and it was not only easy but very transparent. If I had questions, they responded immediately and if they didn't have the answer they let me know but they also worked to get it. It was a small team but very efficient. Can't sing the praises enough.
IMHO, I would employ others to take advantage of this Company. I couldn't be more satisfied. It was like ordering a full meal from soup to nuts and walking away very satisfied. Thanks to all of you concerned.
