This was our first time buying a home, and of course, using the VA loan. We worked with Morgunn during the process and it was most definitely the best first time home buying experience I think anyone could have had. Veterans personnel are friendly and initially very responsive in a timely manager BUT the under writer portion of the process is really unacceptable. Information should be supplied in a timely manner by the applicant(which it was in every case) and time lines respected and met but the under writer process is not timely for a thorough, in depth review and lacks respect for their deadlines. The information requested is not reviewed in a timely manner nor with any perceptive or knowledgeable review. Information requests for things already submitted suggest they aren't reviewing what they request or they don't have the ability to understand what they have requested.
The services you provide veterans should be recognized every single day. My wife and I can't express enough what a great experience it was working with Veterans United Home Loans. Each and every member of my home loan team made such a positive impact during this entire process, we couldn't have asked for more. From our coordinator, Molly Nelson who graciously appointed Felicia Murphy as our realtor to the especially talented home loan officer, Katie Tegerdine.
