My experience with Veteran's United was first rate from start to finish. Alice helped me find an amazing realtor and made the loan process much easier than I ever thought it could be. She got us to the closing table in only 16 days after we submitted our offer. Our family will forever be appreciative of the work Alice and Veteran's United and our realtor Blair Dinkins did to help us get our forever home.
Only glitch was a miscommunication as to where the closing would take place. I received a text from Alice confirming the closing would be at the title company office. However, when we arrived we were told the closing agent was waiting at Veterans United office. situation was resolved but could have saved us half the commute on a very wintry day.
I've had many doors closed in my face over the years regarding home ownership because of irresponsible decisions I made more than 20 years ago. I was beginning to lose faith in achieving the "American Dream". I felt like reaching out to Veterans United Home Loans was a long shot, but decided to do it anyway. One recommendation is to provide the home buyer a comprehensive list of documentation required for applying for and processing the home loan. Including documentation needed from the Contractor if the home owner is taking out a cash out refinance loan. This is my only criticism. Otherwise I had a great experience.
