As a first time home buyer, I went through a rollercoaster of emotions throughout this process. Lance Hopper and his team went out of their way to make sure I knew what to expect through the process. I even had a family emergency during this process that put things on pause. The first thing that Lance said to me was take care of family and we'll still be here. Throughout this process, I did not just feel like another number with Veterans United. As a Marine, I have always had a mentality of "get things done"....but with Veterans United, they made sure I was prepared for the whole process.
Working with Jake and Rachael was an absolute pleasure during our home buying process. Both were punctual with communication and kept us informed through the entire process. 10/10 recommend.

Home buying can be stressful especially when you’re juggling regular life with a bunch of kids. Understanding the lending process let alone a VA Loan was a lot of work (for me). Veterans United made the process simple and my loan officer, Rachel was outstanding! Made the process simple. Clearly communicated every step of the way. Overall, my experience with buying a home through Veterans United was great! As a first time home buyer I felt at ease through the processes and steps and I even got a great APR to start!My one and only gripe would be that during some of the home buying processes, I had to reach out a few times while we were waiting on certain paperwork to go through and I wish I could of had an update without asking for it. Communication to the fullest would remedy that! Otherwise, great experience overall!
IMHO, I would employ others to take advantage of this Company. I couldn't be more satisfied. It was like ordering a full meal from soup to nuts and walking away very satisfied. Thanks to all of you concerned.

Another very good performance by the team.
I paid so much for rate because the closing costs were packed. My credit is way too high to get 5.5 and pay so much. I paid $7600 in lender fees. I am also a disabled vet so funding fee was waived. If I had to pay it also.Would I have paid $10 grand in lender fees? Wow!
I didn't see it until the final disclosure but too late. I talked to rep but resigned to the deal I got.
A good deal on the surface but too expensive for what I got.
