We still can't believe we own a beautiful home all thanks to hard work and support from Veterans United. Veterans United is staffed by people who have a family oriented approach, and that is always a breath of fresh air. The day of the closing we even got a surprise gift from our finance officers team, we were amazed how thoughtful everyone was.
Veteran’s United is an amazing company and I am happy that we chose to go with them for our home loan and our re-finance. Both were seamless transactions.

Rachel and her team made the process simple and manageable. My questions were answered quickly and her solutions were understandable and simple.
The overall process was more tedious than other VA lenders and the appraiser’s they use do not do their jobs. A $700 appraisal still had the VA buyer have to go out and take pictures of smoke alarms.

I’m sorry to hear the process felt more tedious than expected and that the appraisal added extra frustration. VA appraisers are independent and sometimes need additional proof, like photos of smoke alarms, to meet the VA’s requirements. I honestly don't think we would have been able to purchase our house without Veterans United. It was an easy process. Everything was so easy! They keep you informed the whole process. They take the time to explain everything to you. It was an amazing experience! We did not have an issue with anything. I would highly recommend to everyone that is looking into a VA loan.
