Veterans home United made my homebuying process too easy! The entire team was there any time I needed them. Everything from the people to the software was smooth and clear.I owe an extra special thanks to Josh Dinkins who went above and beyond to help me through this process and directly checked in with me to get everything squared away regularly. Appreciate you and the entire team helping make my family’s dream come true.
This process was a very scary process for me and my family as we are first time homebuyers. The team at the Colorado Springs branch office, lead my Alice, was amazing at every turn. They made sure I was always informed of every piece of information I could possibly need, answering me and my wife's millions of questions. No matter if they where in a meeting or actively available, they where still there to make sure no question was left unanswered, no idea or contingency plan was left unexplored or set in place. When first offers for a house where not accepted for the house that was our dream home, they didn't just throw in the flag and say "let's just try a different house", they, within minutes, had a new offer already planned out and briefed it to me with military precision and detail. We did not expect to be buying a home at this early of a stage in our life and my career in the Army, but they exercised the Army's Warrior Ethos of I will NEVER Quit and I will NEVER accept defeat, and made this mission of getting my family a great home a success. I have never found such great dedication from a team, to help a veteran and active duty service member find a home. They didn't just help find a home, but went out of their way to make sure I had tools, contacts, and services in place to make sure I could continue to improve on my home, far after the home buying process was complete. The team here in Colorado Springs should be used as a goal and standard for all lending agencies and realty teams, not just Veterans United, for how to reach success in helping people buy a house that will become a home. All veterans and active service members should look no further than Veterans United for help finding their home.
PS- Rob Riggle, your going to need a longer commercial to fit all the praises I will heap on the team I worked with, and Veterans United as a whole, that helped me give my family a home.
Martin and his crew were effortless to work with it's like a family run business there and by the end we felt like we were part of the family even with little lady their dog! Going into it we felt like we were overwhelmed with finances. Now we Have a fresh start thanks to Martin and veterans United home loans!
Veterans United made one of my biggest dreams come true, and I am incredibly thankful for that. I am happy and proud to say I am a homeowner in Colorado. I decided to try my chance on a whim because I've grown tired of renting, and Veterans United stood out to me because they cater to veterans like me. And I am soo happy I trusted myself. The process was extremely easy and stress-free from beginning to end. Our loan officer was always in contact with us for any needed questions or details. They helped us find awesome real estate agents to work with and we closed within a month! I am extremely happy and grateful to have had a team of people help us through this experience and for allowing to me to achieve one of my biggest dreams. Veterans United rocks!

STARTING OUT, MY EXPERIENCE WITH VU WAS GREAT! INITIALLY, I BEGAN WORKING WITH JARED AND HE WAS AWESOME. HE WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND WE HAD GREAT CONVERSATION. HE WAS ALWAYS AVAILABLE AND WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS THAT I HAD AND PROVIDE INFORMATION THROUGHOUT THIS PROCESS. KYLE WAS ALSO A GREAT VU CONCIERGE TO WORK WITH. THESE TWO MADE THE PROCESS RELATIVELY EFFORTLESS AND I WOULD ABSOLUTELY WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.MY EXPERIENCE WENT DOWNHILL WHEN MY FILE WAS TRANSFERRED TO ALICE. ALTHOUGH SHE IS VERY NICE, SHE ALWAYS SEEMED TO BE IN A RUSH WHEN WE WERE ON THE PHONE. SHE DIDN'T REALLY LISTEN TO WHAT I WAS SAYING OR THE QUESTIONS I WAS ASKING AND WOULD FREQUENTLY CUT ME OFF MID-SENTENCE, WHICH IS A HUGE PET PEEVE OF MINE. ALSO, WHEN I GOT TO THE CLOSING TABLE, I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD HAVE DONE THE WIRE OF THE CLOSING COSTS PRIOR TO THE CLOSING DATE. I DIDN'T KNOW THAT I HAD TO COMPLETE THE WIRE PRIOR THE CLOSING. MY LOAN OFFICER DIDN'T BOTHER TO EXPLAIN THAT INFORMATION TO ME. LUCKILY, I HAD TIME TO GO TO NAVY FEDERAL TO GET A CASHIER'S CHECK BUT THAT SITUATION COULD HAVE TURNED OUT TERRIBLY IF I DIDN'T HAVE A BANK IN THE AREA. IT JUST SEEMS THAT SHE WOULD HAVE CALLED TO GO OVER ALL OF THAT INFORMATION WHEN THE FINAL LOAN DISCLOSURE BECAME AVAILABLE JUST ENSURE WE WERE ON THE SAME PAGE. I WAS GENEROUS AND GAVE HER A 7\10 ABOVE BECAUSE SHE WAS TYPICALLY EXPEDITIOUS TO RESPOND TO TEXTS AND SHE DID A GREAT JOB EXPLAINING BUYING DOWN THE INTEREST RATE VS. PAYING A HIGHER DOWN PAYMENT.MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE WITH VU WASN'T TERRIBLE BUT IT WASN'T THE GREATEST EITHER. I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH JARED AND KYLE AGAIN BUT WOULD PREFER NOT TO WORK WITH ALICE IN THE FUTURE SHOULD I CHOOSE TO REFINANCE OR FINANCE ANOTHER PROPERTY THROUGH VU.
