I'm very glad I chose Veterans United to purchase my first home. The whole home buying process seemed very overwhelming but they somehow made it understandable in bite size pieces. I was super anxious and lost at the beginning and they held my hand at each step. With their insurance brokerage, I found cheaper auto, home, and flood insurance.

As first time home buyers, Austin was a fantastic resource for the myriad of questions I had throughout the process and was always available. Over a weekend where we were planning on viewing several properties but did not anticipate making any offers, Austin worked late on a Friday night to get us our pre-approval letter just in case we wanted to make an offer over the weekend (and sure enough, we did!). At closing, Austin was present to answer any last minute questions and even brought a house warming gift and card, a personal touch not expected but greatly appreciated. To whom this may concern Mr. Charles and drew and the rest of the team there were absolutely fabulous. They did their job and they did it very well professional. Yes, I would recommend them to all of my family, friends, etc.
We’ve used VU twice and a smaller lender once for our three total times we’ve purchased a home using the VA Loan. Will highly recommend them over and over as we haven’t seen many other lenders top their customer service and support throughout the process. We always feel informed and like we’re part of the entire process during each step, whereas other lenders keep to themselves while working on things behind the scenes. Grateful for VU and will always recommend them for VA Loans.

Jerry and his entire team stayed in touch, long before I was prepared. They told me what steps to take at each point. They weren't bothersome though. It was like having a best friend keeping in touch. If I had a question, they had an answer. Even our realtor said that from now on he would recommend Veterans United and Jerry Landry as he has never had a veteran loan that went so smoothly. I am still pinching myself because it is hard to believe how
easy it was. I should mention that I never thought I would qualify and have a difficult time understanding things like this. So, Veterans United had their work cut out for them.
